Financial Aid

DEADLINE DATES FOR FILING FINANCIAL AID FORMS WILL VARY FOR EACH SCHOOL - PLEASE BE AWARE OF SPECIFIC DATES AND REQUIRED FORMS FOR EACH SCHOOL YOU ARE APPLYING TO.

The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students & families wishing to apply for financial aid for college must complete the FAFSA. The application is used to determine the dollar amount you or your family will be expected to contribute towards college. All federal grant and loan awards are determined by the FAFSA and nearly all colleges use the FAFSA as the basis for their own financial aid awards.

The CSS Profile is the financial aid application service of the College Board. Many colleges, universities, and scholarship programs use the information collected on PROFILE to help them award nonfederal student aid. The PROFILE can be completed beginning October 1. Not all schools require the CSS/Profile, be sure to check the requirements for each college applying to.

FAFSA4caster will help you understand your options for paying for college.Provide basic information and the forecaster will estimate your eligibility for federal student aid. Your estimate will be shown in the "College Cost Worksheet" where you can also provide estimated amounts of other student aid and savings that can go towards your college education.
